TMVOA: Music on the Green Postponed

We hold many truths to be self-evident these corona days. One of them is that we have not been heading “uptown” to Denise Mongan’s Beyond the Groove wonderful outdoor concerts on Reflection Plaza in Mountain Village, sponsored by the Telluride Mountain Village Owner’s Association.

Below is a note from Anton Benitez of TMVOA.

Telluride’s Beyond The Groove and TMVOA officially announce the 2020 Music on the Green summer concert series has postponed until further notice. After waiting as long as we could, and in consultation with state and local officials, the decision was made to ensure the well-being of our community.

“Cancelling this series is the right and necessary decision at this time. Our overarching focus is on the safety and well-being of our community and guests and in being aligned with state and county guidelines,” said Anton Benitez, TMVOA President and CEO.

“We continue to monitor state and local restrictions. If permission for increased gathering size occurs, we will readily produce a show in the Reflection Plaza. We are eager to provide quality shows and return to this boutique concert experience whenever we are allowed. So stay tuned for any updates. If regulations ease enough to allow us to produce shows later in the summer, we most certainly will do so,” adds Denise Mongan of Beyond the Groove Productions.

While we are disappointed, we look forward to returning to the “green” in Mountain Village’s Reflection Plaza again soon.
