21 Apr Telluride Yoga Fest: Postponed until 2021
The following is a sad note from Telluride Yoga Fest director, producer and co-owner Erika Henschel.
It is my wish that this email finds you happy, healthy, and navigating these uncertain times with grace, love, and faith. This too shall pass.
It has been our prayer and deepest desire that the global pandemic we face now would be in a place by late-June where we would be able to gather together in a safe space with one another. We optimistically looked forward to our event being a conduit for healing and rebirth while feeling the power of Nature beneath our feet and above us in our mountains. However, after careful consideration for the physical and mental well-being of our beloved TYF family as well as our greater Telluride community, we have decided to postpone the 2020 Telluride Yoga Festival and shift our energy to planning a beautiful reunion June 24-27, 2021.
It is with heavy hearts that we make this decision. We recognize this will not be easy on our festival, our teachers, our staff, or on YOU, our yoga family. We put our heart and soul into the preparation for our 2020 event and could not have been more excited about the quality of our teachers and artists or the unique offerings we curated for you this year. While it is heartbreaking to be in collective dormancy this year, we will use this time to cultivate goodness, resilience, and plant seeds for future growth.
We want to thank YOU, our loyal and devoted attendees who have supported and trusted us year after year. We greatly appreciate your understanding and continued support so we may continue to bring you the Telluride Yoga Festival each year. All pass holders will receive an email regarding their passes. If you did not receive an email from us or have any questions about your passes, please email info@tellurideyogafestival.com.
We couldn’t be more humbled to call all of you our Telluride Yoga Festival Family and look forward to seeing you in 2021. Please continue to check in on our Instagram and Facebook feeds for ways in which we can continue to support some of our favorite teachers and artists with classes, uplifting playlists, articles and more. Let us find new ways to come together.
We will emerge ever stronger in 2021 and look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces then. Take good care of yourself and one another.
In solidarity and love,
Erika Henschel
