10 Apr Mountainfilm: New 2020 Online Festival, Starts 5/15 + Pass Info!

First things, first. We want to thank you for your patience on this wild ride. Our small staff has been working around the clock to figure out how we can still share our outstanding lineup of films with you at a time when it’s not safe to gather.
With the overwhelming support of our filmmakers and special guests, we are psyched to be able to offer you a selection of our 2020 festival lineup online. We acknowledge that bringing Mountainfilm online could never come close to the physical experience of being in Telluride. However, we feel that it is important to offer something that will bring us together, even if that togetherness looks a little different. So here’s what you’ve all been waiting for (drumroll, please): the plan. Mountainfilm will be offering our 2020 festival lineup through a secure online platform from May 15–25. The new online festival pass will give you full access to over 100 films, a symposium and additional presentations for $75. You also have the option to purchase individual films, shorts programs or presentations for $10 each.

As you might have guessed, pass sales provide the majority of our annual income. Offering our content at a discounted pricing and the shift to an online platform will have a significant financial impact. We would be grateful if you would also consider making a tax-deductible donation to Mountainfilm. This year will surely prove to be the most challenging in our 42-year history. Donations will go a long way to ensure that Mountainfilm endures and comes back strong in 2021.
What if I already purchased a pass?
If you have already purchased a pass, we have a couple options available. The shift to an online platform will have a significant financial impact. We would be grateful if you would consider making the price difference from your original purchase, or a portion of it, a tax-deductible donation. Please follow the appropriate button below to choose your preference:
Donation Exchange – If you are able, you can exchange the pass(es) you originally purchased for the new online pass at $75 each and use the value difference to make a tax-deductible donation to Mountainfilm, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. You can donate the full difference in pass prices or a portion of it
Exchange- Exchange the pass(es) you originally purchased for the new online pass. Your original form of payment will be refunded the difference in pass prices.
Full Refund – We recognize that many folks have come upon uncertain circumstances and will offer a full refund if you are not able or do not wish to attend. You can still view our festival content for $10 per program from May 15–25. We hope to see you back in 2021.
