Ah Haa: Maker Moments on You Tube!

When the going gets tough…  The following is a note from the team at Ah Haa. The school has figured out a way to help you play in place while the physical school is closed through April 20. Stay tuned for further updates about the cyber fun you can have at home.

Check out Ahh Haa You Tube classes here.

We feel it’s important to find ways to stay connected with our community during these uncertain times. Art activities can be a great way to work through anxiety and keep occupied in the safety of your own home. To that end, we are excited to announce Ah Haa Maker Moments– virtual programming to feed your head and heart, and spark a bit of creativity.

Simply visit our Facebook page on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3 p.m., where you’ll find live-feed videos with local artists, as well as a variety of instructional art tutorials. Tune in for visits with local artists, as they provide a quick demo or peek into what they’re currently working on, or for step-by-step instruction on art projects that can be completed at home.

If you are interested in being a presenter or you have fabulous ideas and links to share, please email info@ahhaa.org.

All videos will also be saved for your viewing convenience. We will also include materials lists and supplemental activity instructions on our website. Stay tuned for a more detailed schedule of what’s to come.

And know that enrolled students have been refunded and certain classes will be rescheduled for a later date. Summer classes remain unaffected and we encourage you to peruse our full course offerings at www.ahhaa.org.

Meanwhile, Ah Haa staff is working remotely, responding to emails and phone calls, so please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.

In the meantime, stay safe, and stay creative.
