The Durango Blues Train is an exciting moving live blues music experience through the San Juan National Forest aboard the Historic Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. New for 2020 and back for our 10th year, a Thursday evening train was added for both May and August.
Each train voyage features two full blues bands and four solo-duo performances inside historic coaches. Passengers are free to dance their way from coach to coach, enjoying an intimate viewing of unique acts, beautiful scenery, and a festive environment along the way. Six coaches have seats; two have open floors for dancing.
In addition, a selection of award-winning craft beer from local breweries Ska Brewing and Telluride Brewing Co., along with wine, light snacks, and merchandise will be available in a bar coach.
