Chris Vann, local arts presenter and Programming and Development Director for the Michael D.Palm Theatre for the Performing Arts in Telluride, Colorado, was chosen as a finalist in the “5 Minutes to Shine” competition held in New York City as part of the annual Association of Performing Arts Professionals conference.

Vann was chosen to give a presentation on the nonprofit/for-profit collaboration between the Telluride Society for Jazz and SBG productions and the resilience of the Telluride Jazz Festival.

“It’s incredible to be acknowledged by my peers at such an important performing arts
conference,” says Vann “to be able to share the valuable arts programing that we produce in the San Juans with a National audience is a real honor.”
