13 Dec Telski: Over 6 Feet of Snow to Date, More Terrain Opening!
The Telluride Ski Resort is pleased to announce that, with over 6 feet of snow to date, new terrain is opening. Please scroll down for details.
To stay in-the-know about snow throughout the winter season, download the Telluride Ski Resort app, a great source for snow, lift, and trail information, maps, and webcams, as well as up-to-the-minute notices about lift and trail status. Also keep an eye on Telski’s Powder Cam.
Worth noting: For the 7th year in a row, in 2019 Telluride Ski & Golf was honored as the #1 Ski Resort in North America per the readers of Conde Nast Traveler. Plus Telluride was voted #1 out of the top 11 resorts in North America by USA Today. And in 2020? Well, with the snow flying like mad, it is definitely game on…
With over 6 feet of natural snow and effective early-season snowmaking, the Telluride Ski Resort is opening Chairs 10, 11, 12, 13 & 14 on Saturday.
Access to Prospect Bowl will either be through the East Portal at the top of Chair 5 or the West Portal through Ute Park. Egress out will be via Ute Park and the Lift 10 area.
With these lifts opening, high mountain restaurants will be open too, including High Camp, Bon Vivant (weather permitting), and Alpino Vino for lunch. (Dinner service to begin on December 20).
On Wednesday, Chairs 8 & 9 open, including all terrain off those lifts and access into the Town of Telluride.
Additionally, all Telluride Ski & Snowboard School products are available. The nursery is open 8:30am–4:30pm.
As always, lift and terrain openings are subject to change, especially with another snowstorm pending.
“We are off to a great start this season, and expect to have more terrain opening soon. So stay tuned,” said Jeff Proteau, VP of Operations.
