04 Jun Trust for Community Housing & Tourism Board: Survey on Housing & Telluride’s Workforce
The Trust for Community Housing in partnership with the Telluride Tourism Board is distributing an employer survey this week to business license holders in Telluride and Mountain Village. The survey will provide data from businesses regarding housing and workforce availability.
The survey will help provide a better understanding of:
· How housing impacts current workforce workload.
· The ability to hire and retain employees.
· The ability to effectively and efficiently operate your business.
· Whether businesses are currently assisting with housing and how it helps.
· Perspectives on the various programs that enhance housing opportunities here.
The survey is part of economic research that the Tourism Board and the Trust for Community Housing is doing regarding the economic and social impact of affordable housing. WSW Consulting has been contracted to conduct the research on behalf of the organizations.
This information will highlight the role that affordable housing has in supporting the economic and social diversity of the Telluride area and the extent to which existing deed or income-restricted housing for residents has assisted the Telluride area.
