21st Annual Sunset Concert Series, Wednesdays, Starts 6/26

The Mountain Village comes alive this summer every Wednesday night through mid-August when producer Teddy Errico and the Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association present live music at the 21st annual Sunset Concert Series, June 26 – August 16. Attendance is FREE to all. Scroll down to listen to the performers in action. (The event is held rain or shine.)

One of the most anticipated events of the summer, the Sunset Concert Series continues to celebrate its long-standing tradition of bringing live entertainment to the San Juan Mountains, thanks to producer Teddy Errico who brings nine spectacular shows to Mountain Village’s Sunset Plaza (on the lawn near Lift 1), just steps away from the gondola to the Town of  Telluride. Aptly named because of its west-facing orientation resulting in spectacular sunset views, Sunset Plaza in Mountain Village is one of the most magical music settings in the country.

Again, the series kicks off June 26 and runs through August 14 and the family-friendly, pet-friendly concerts start at 6 p.m.

Teddy Errico has produced the very popular Sunset Concert Series in Mountain Village for years.

“TMVOA, along with Telluride Society For Music, has established a tradition of bringing talented, up-and-coming, artists to Mountain Village. The Sunset Concert vibe is magical and I’m especially excited about the talent on June 26th and July 31st that will appeal to our fantastic Hispanic community,” said Heidi Stenhammer, administration and operations manager for TMVOA:

“We look forward once again to having our members, guests and visitors come together for this weekly community event that is easily one of the great summer traditions in the region,” said Anton Benitez, TMVOA President and CEO.

We have an incredibly diverse lineup and bringing some genres of music rarely seen in Telluride,” said Teddy Errico. “There is something new and different each week.”

The 2019 Sunset Concert Series lineup:

Adding to the vibrancy, a new Market at Sunset (Vendor Village) will be added with at least eight Vendors providing different goods and services. Also new to the series will be select Breweries featured on site, including Crooked Stave and Palisade Brewing Company.

TMVOA is the property owner’s association for the Telluride Mountain Village with an ultimate goal of ensuring that Telluride Mountain Village is a highly sustainable and vital resort community. The funds collected by TMVOA from Real Estate Transfer Assessments and annual member assessments provide funding and support for the operation of the Gondola, Village Court Apartments (which provide affordable housing to assist with the creation of a stable workforce), foster economic development and vitality to increase tourism and provide a vibrant community for all members and guests.

Situated in the heart of the breathtaking San Juan Mountains, Mountain Village was incorporated in 1995 as a home rule municipality.  Its founders envisioned a European-style ski-in/ski-out, pedestrian-friendly destination resort that would complement the historic mining town of Telluride. A three-stage gondola transportation system connects the Town of Mountain Village with the Town of Telluride. Situated at 9,500 feet, Mountain Village is comparably a world apart from other resorts: it is innately spectacular, beautifully orchestrated and planned, and overflowing with style, charm, and sophistication. The Telluride Society For Music is the Producer and Management Company for the Sunset Concert Series and Red White and Blues Celebration. Owned and operated by long-time local Teddy Errico.
