One thing some people really and truly like about Xmas is that the holiday can make people forget the past with a present – unless that past includes Dude & Bro, in which case the past is present.

Yes indeed. Dude and Bro are BACK after five years, showing up in a totally new play. Telluride’s most lovable ski bums have to face the facts and GET REAL!

“We are so excited to bring back some of our most favorite characters this holiday season,” said Sasha Sullivan, Telluride Theatre’s Artistic Director. “We created the Dude and Bro characters almost 10 years ago and they have become town favorites, appearing in three full-length plays and various other performances. People are always asking when they are coming back… The answer is NOW!”

DUDE & BRO is Telluride Theatre’s love letter to the town of Telluride. The next installment in the tales of our favorite ski bums. In DUDE & BRO GET REAL it’s time for them to grow up, get real and figure out how to survive and thrive in Telluride. A wild and wacky adventure featuring a lot of familiar faces, characters and Telluride traditions.

“The idea for Dude & Bro came during an improv we were doing for a show we created for the Telluride Music called “Inaccurate Reenactments.” Colin Sullivan & Ethan Hale originally created the characters, who have appeared in three full length shows (this production isthe 4th) and countless other performances. Bro has been played by three actors… Sam the most recent,” added Sasha.
