Mountain Munchkins‘ 3rd annual Family Date Night takes place 5:30-8 p.m. on Friday, November 30, at the Telluride Conference Center in Mountain Village. The featured movie, “Happy Feet,” begins at 6 p.m. Admission is $10 (and $5 for kids 12 and under). A raffle offers a chance to win a season’s Telluride Ski Resort pass with your tickets, available for $10. A cash bar open for adults as well.
Established in 1996, Mountain Munchkins is a licensed infant, toddler and preschool center located at the Village Court Apartments in Mountain Village. The program offers affordable, high-quality child care and preschool in a developmentally sound, emotionally supportive environment to families who live and work in the Telluride and Mountain Village region. Mountain Munchkins also provides an inviting, friendly, informative environment for parents and families.
Research shows that one in five kids are not ready for kindergarten. Mountain Munchkins recognizes that each child is unique and learns at different rates and in different ways, so it provides a diverse, child-centered curriculum with plenty of opportunity for hands-on learning and exploration.
Mountain Munchkins is owned, operated and subsidized by the Town of Mountain Village, and supported by grant-funding organizations like the Telluride Foundation, Just For Kids Foundation, CCAASE, Bright Futures and Temple Hoyne Buell Foundation.
On Friday, November 30, take the family out to the Telluride Conference Center for Mountain Munchkin’s 3rd annual Family Date Night. All proceeds benefit the scholarship fund at Mountain Munchkins,
