03 Oct Tim Cannon Honored at Fundraiser for SAR, 10/5
Amy Cannon, wife of beloved husband, father, banker and avid outdoor adventurer Tim Cannon, (11/17/1962-7/8/2018), hosts fundraiser, along with friends, Mike Volk and Seth Weatherfield, to benefit the dedicated Telluride-based San Miguel Search & Rescue team so crucial in the search for Tim this summer. The event takes place Friday, October 5, 4 – 7 p.m., at Oaks. Story about Tim in Daily Planet here.
From Amy:
In loving commemoration of Tim Cannon, with awesome appreciation of San Miguel County Search and Rescue (SAR) and the hundreds of BringTimHome volunteers, the community is invited to an evening picnic and mountainside gathering at Oak, at the base of the gondola, on Friday, October 5.
Come gather for a bite and a beverage while listening to the music of singer-songwriter, Jim Parker of Nashville and Telluride and give generously to SAR in honor of their extensive search efforts for Tim and for all future operations.
Cost is $20/person for dinner by Oak and includes lemonade and ice tea thanks to Christ Church or a beer. Colorado SAR cards, good for five Years, will be available for purchase at the picnic along with a few special auction items.
Let’s raise some fun and funds, in honor of one of the all-time best Telluriders, Tim Cannon.
After all the heartbreak and sorrow, I feel the need for time and reflection on what has been lost, gained and learned from the sudden loss of my dear Tim. Tim’s and my intimate family of Morgan, Erin and I appreciate everyone’s respect of privacy and the time to work through the process of grief.
Therefore…
The official memorial event to honor my beloved husband and best friend, Tim Cannon, will take place in the summer, July 6, 2019, near the date of his last beautiful day on “his” mountain quest.
. . . Please mark your calendars
