It’s not exactly a crystal ball, but it is definitely a good surrogate, at least when it comes to weather. And, according to the Farmer’s Almanac: For the 2018-2019 season,“Winter temperatures and precipitation will be above normal, on average…”
And right on cue an early season snow arrived in the Telluride region with forecasters and calling for – and getting – more accumulation.

So now, on top of a base of more than 24 inches of natural snowfall across the upper mountain in the past eight days, Telluride’s snowmaking team has begun preparations for the upcoming season.The hardworking crew will be busy making snow across the resort as temperatures permit.
Upcoming season pass highlights include:
• Additional mountain access for full season passholders through Telluride’s pass alliance with Vail Resorts and the Epic PassTM.
• The 10-Day Pass will again include up to 23 FREE days of skiing between Opening Day (Nov. 22, 2018) and Dec. 14, 2018.
• Reintroduction of the 3-Day Pass (available at sale events only).
• Telluride’s alliance with the Mountain Collective™, as well as the lineup of Season Pass PLUS products have been discontinued.
For the upcoming winter season, full Telluride Season Pass holders will receive a new benefit from our alliance with Vail Resorts: 50% off daily lift tickets at Vail Resorts-owned mountains including Vail, Beaver Creek, Whistler Blackcomb, Breckenridge, Keystone, Crested Butte, Park City, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood, Stevens Pass, Stowe, Okemo, Mount Sunapee, Wilmot, Afton Alps, Mt. Brighton and Perisher Ski Resort.*
Again this year, 10-day passholders will receive up to 23 days of complimentary lift access from Opening Day (Scheduled for Nov. 22, 2018) through Dec. 14, 2018 in addition to the 10 days of access to utilize before April 7, 2019 (Closing Day). Opening Day is subject to change based upon snow conditions.
The 3-Day Pass is back and available for purchase at any of our regional sale events. The 3-Day Pass can also be renewed online by eligible passholders.
