27 Feb Telluride Adaptive Sports Program: Blue Party Fun-raiser, 3/9
TASP’s Blue Party, one of the organization’s main annual fun-raisers, is booked into the Telluride Conference Center in Mountain Village on Friday, March 9, 6 p.m. Tickets are $65 in advance at Telluride Adaptive Sports; $70 at the door.
The Telluride Adaptive Sports Program is a a non-profit dedicated to providing top-quality therapeutic recreation to individuals with disabilities in order to promote their independence and personal growth. Participants range in age from four to 94 and can have physical, emotional, and cognitive disabilities.
Proceeds from TASP’s annual Blue Party benefit TASP’s scholarship fund in support of low-income participants with disabilities.
Motivational speaker, Lonnie Bedwell, is the featured speaker of the evening. Bedwell is an extreme athlete, a blind military veteran, and was National Geographic’s 2015 Adventurer of the Year.

The ticket price includes a glass of award-winning Emeritus Pinot Noir, a selection of hearty hors d’oeuvres from The Village Table, Rustico, Wine Geek Food Freak, Siam and Siam’s Talay Grille, Bistro, Krasic’s Cuisine, The Butcher & The Baker, There Bar, Madeline Hotel’s Executive Chef Will Nolan, and more, along with a night filled with dancing to the fabulous Anders Brothers Band. There will also be a silent auction featuring many one-of-a-kind items and fabulous get-away vacations.
