01 Dec “Paws for Art” on Noel Night
On Telluride’s Noel Night, shoppers can give great art and homeless pets a second chance. For months, the best artwork donated to Second Chance Thrift Shops has been set aside in preparation for this big holiday art sale. The event takes place Wednesday from noon-9 p.m. at the County Annex, 335 W. Colorado Ave.
Patrons can find holiday gifts as well as artistic creations to brighten up any home or office. There are oils, mixed media, prints, photos and even a beautiful glass vase. Values for the art range from $50 to $5,000.
Art lovers will appreciate the vibrant colors of a Greek seaside or the power of a Native American chief’s portrait. Animal lovers will enjoy delightful photos. While shopping, visitors can warm up with hot cider and delicious treats.
Second Chance T-shirts, hats, dog bowls, 2018 calendars and more will also be on sale.
Proceeds from the sale will help house and feed homeless pets, support low-cost spay and neuter clinics, plus educational and outreach programming.
