The Telluride Venture Accelerator is an initiative of the innovative, impactful Telluride Foundation. The 17-week hybrid on-site/remote program is helping build world-class start-up ventures in one of the most beautiful mountain communities in the world, namely, Telluride, Colorado. Applications are now open for the class of 2018.

One size doesn’t fit all which is the Telluride Venture Accelerator has moved to a hybrid on-site/remote model. With six weeks on-site and 11 remote, the innovative program has combined the best of what accelerators can offer.
Startups are e welcome to be on-site longer, but after being a part of dozens of accelerator programs and working with founders from around the globe here in Telluride, TVA understands that uprooting a life for four months doesn’t always make sense, especially for founders who might have families and/or established businesses several team members.
Focus on Leadership & Quality of Life:
Building a company could be one of the hardest things you will ever do in your life, but it is also one of the most rewarding. Beyond the business itself, TVA realizes that a lot of the work it does is helping individual founders learn how to be amazing leaders in all aspects of their life. TVA’s investment is truly in each founder and the life journey they are on. Of course, no one should overlook the obvious advantage being in a place like Telluride has to helping ensure this is top of mind every day.
Flexible Capital:
Not every company needs to be a unicorn to be successful and adopt the “growth at all costs” mentality. TVA offers two different investment models to support companies with more modest goals as well as those with high growth ambitions.
Mentorship:
TVA’s world-class network of over 100 mentors is comprised of successful entrepreneurs and investors who have literally built some of the world’s biggest companies as well as well as entrepreneurs who are actively in the startup trenches. The value of having both in the network ensures participants can get unprecedented insight and access to some amazing networks, at the same time it ensures hands-on, practical advice.

September 25, 2017: Applications Open
December 1, 2017: Applications Close
December 15, 2017: Top -12 selected
January 1, 2018: Final cohort announced publicly
March 7 -29: Onsite #1 – Teams in Telluride
March 30- June 13: Remote Program (with a visit to Boulder Startup Week during this time)
June 13th – July 5th: Onsite #2 – Teams in Telluride & Demo Day on July 2nd
