25 Aug Telski: Abraham Named To Golf’s Top 100 Teachers in America
The Telluride Ski & Golf Club appears to be in the pink on the green. In his weekly column, Telluride Real Estate News, broker Robert Stenhammer crowed about the $1 million upgrade of the club’s practice facility in a great video. And now this: Telski’s Director of Golf & Instruction, Dale Abraham, named to GOLF Magazine’s Top 100 Teachers list for 2017-2018, one of 15 new members in this elite group, the best of the best.
Since its inception in 1991, GOLF Magazine’s Top Teachers in America ranking has become the industry standard for teaching excellence. Four different committees – peer review, World Golf Teacher Hall of Fame members, established Top 100 teachers and alumni and GOLF Magazine – judge candidates on 15 baseline criteria.
“It is a great honor to be named as one of the Top 100 Teachers in America,” said Abraham, who is in his fourth season now as the Director of Golf & Instruction. “This award is one of the most prestigious in the field and to be selected as one of the best out of 25,000+ teachers is truly a privilege.”
Abraham has been teaching golf full-time for more than 21 years and has taught more than 35,000 individual lessons and clinics.
Abraham has been honored with numerous awards including twice being named the PGA Section Teacher of the Year, a Golf Digest Top Teacher in the state of California, the Southern California Inland Empire Chapter Teacher of the Year, Golf Tips Magazine Top 25 Instructor 2011-present and GRAA Top 50 Teacher for the past three years.
From the get-go, club members have described Abraham as an exceptional instructor.
Others in the know clearly agree.
Telski is thrilled Abraham is now being recognized by GOLF Magazine, chosen to be on their exclusive list of the top golf teachers in the entire country.
Fair to call the honor a hole in one.
