On Friday, August 18, Jamestown Revival performs the last show of the summer 2017 season at Club Red, bringing their self-described “back-porch folk-rock” to Mountain Village.
Jamestown Revival is a group formed by Jonathan Clay and Zach Chance, who left their life in Magnolia, Texas and hit the road to conceive a style uniquely their own.
Since then Jamestown Revival has brought its signature sound across America and were named iTunes “Best of 2014: Singer-Songwriter Album of the Year.”
The Jamestown Revival plays to sold-out crowds at Coachella, Austin City Limits, Bottlerock Festival, Bonnaroo and more.
“I can’t think of a better act to close out our summer season than Jamestown Revival,” said Denise Mongan of Beyond the Groove Productions. “It’s been a summer marked by a wide variety of performers, from brass, funk and rock to more intimate acoustic sets. Jamestown Revival will literally end the season on a high note.”
Opening for Jamestown Revival is Austin, Texas-based singer-songwriter Joe Pug.
Years of non-stop touring took its toll on Pug’s creativity and songwriting, but he is back with his his newest LP, Windfall.
In Windfall, Pug has put together an intimate, self-reflective collection of songs that reflect his ambitions as an artist and showcase his contemporary influences such as Josh Ritter, Ryan Adams and M. Ward.
