31 Jan Telluride Jazz Fest: Patrons Add-Ons + New VIP Experience
Tickets/passes to the Telluride Jazz Festival August 4 – 6, on sale as of Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at 10 a.m. (MT). Patron and VIP passes are available in limited quantities. “Jazz After Dark” passes also on sale. All passes are available for purchase online at www.telluridejazz.org/tickets.
As August 4-6 inches just a bit closer, SBG Productions and the Telluride Jazz Festival have elevated the festival vanguard to a whole new level once again with the announcement of additional upgrades to the Patron Experience. These upgrades add to the Festival’s most luxurious pass option making for a truly elegant and memorable experience.
The new Patron Experience additions include an on-stage viewing area with bleacher seating and a full stage-side hosted bar along with backstage access to an exclusive Patron Area, where catered meals are served throughout the weekend. Those new amenities add to an already polished Patron Experience featuring a private opening concert, meet and greets with Jazz artists, private off-site Jazz brunch, an open bar all weekend long showcasing the best in craft beer, select wines, and specialty cocktails, entry to “Jazz After Dark” on both Friday and Saturday nights, access to the Patron/VIP Area inside the Festival, seated viewing area in front of the Main Stage and much more.
Patron passes are $850. but a portion of each Patron Pass, $400, includes a tax-deductible charitable donation to the Telluride Society for Jazz.
Also new for the 2017 event, a VIP Experience has been introduced to the list of Festival options.
The VIP Experience shares some of the same benefits as the Patron Experience although not quite as extensive. VIP festival-goers will be treated to an open bar throughout the festival, an exclusive Patron/VIP area inside the Festival grounds with yard games, fire pits and a covered, heated lounge with unobstructed stage views, unobstructed seating in front of the Main Stage, priority check-in at the box office, priority festival entry, up-scale restrooms and more.
VIP Passes are $450 per person and went on sale February 1, 2017 at 10 a.m. (MT).
SBG Productions has created the ideal opportunity for groups to attend the festival with the addition of Safari Cabanas.
Groups of up to eight can enjoy the Main Stage entertainment from the comfort of a Colorado Yurt Cimarron Tent curated with luxurious conveniences and a concierge service. These specialty tents are outfitted with comfortable decor, a covered front porch, fire pit and relaxed seating for all. Safari Cabanas are only available at the VIP or Patron level.

Adding to the list of enhancements above, SBG Productions presents a new format to the late night “Jazz After Dark” performances. After the festival ends in Town Park on Friday and Saturday (August 4 and 5), the music will continue into the night at Telluride’s coziest nightclubs and historic venues. The new “Jazz After Dark” passes will allow attendees to visit any of the venues freely, instead of purchasing tickets on an individual show-by-show basis.

The Festival expands outside of Telluride Town Park through a new partnership with the Telluride Historical Museum offering free museum admission to pass-holders during the Festival weekend. Attendees will have the chance to learn about the region’s rich Ute Native American heritage, mining, skiing and festival history.
Attendees must show a valid festival wristband for museum entry.
The 2017 artist lineup will be revealed in the coming weeks.
The following passes are limited in quantities while supplies last: Early Bird, Patron Experience, VIP Experience, Safari Cabanas, “Jazz After Dark” and 4-Day Camping passes.
Tickets start at $145.00 for an Early Bird 3-Day Pass. Single day tickets will go on sale May 24.
