04 Nov Telluride Bluegrass: Discount Passes NOW for SMC Residents Only
Discount tickets to the 44th Annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival (June 15-18, 2017) for San Miguel County residents are now available exclusively at Telluride Music Company. This year’s locals discount program includes both 4-day passes and single-day tickets. All other tickets for the 44th Annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival will go on sale Thursday, December 8 at 9 a.m. MST at www.bluegrass.com or 800-624-2422.
Planet Bluegrass has set aside 750 4-day passes and 250 single-day tickets (per day) to be sold to San Miguel County residents at these special discounted prices. This is the first year the locals discount program includes single-day tickets. These discount tickets will be available at Telluride Music Company through February 28, 2017.
Each San Miguel County resident can purchase up to two (2) 4-day passes at the discounted price of $225 (which includes a $10 discount from the advance price), plus a $3 Telluride Music Company service fee.
As a new addition for 2017, San Miguel County residents may instead purchase up to two (2) single-day tickets for each/any day of the festival at the discounted price of $77 per day (which includes a $5 discount from the advance price) plus a $3 Telluride Music Company service fee.
Residents of San Miguel County must present a proof of residency (local ID, utility bill) at time of purchase. Each San Miguel County resident may purchase one ticket for themselves, as well as a second for a guest (who need not be a San Miguel County resident).
Discounted locals tickets must be purchased in-person at Telluride Music. The discounted price is valid for cash or local checks only: credit card purchases incur an additional fee. For Telluride Music Company details and hours call: 970.728.9592 or visit www.TellurideMusic.com.
Four-day passes for last year’s Telluride Bluegrass Festival sold-out to the general public the day they went onsale in early December. As with recent years, Planet Bluegrass will announce a preliminary artist lineup in late December, near the winter solstice.
