07 Aug Ah Haa: Winners, 4th Annual Photography Contest
Telluride’s Ah Haa School for the Arts announces the winners of its 4th Annual Juried Photography Prize.
Participating photographers were local residents, visitors, kids, students, amateurs, and professionals. The competition was all about capturing the essence of Telluride through landscape, portraiture, or still life images. Selected work was chosen based on the following criteria: quality of image, composition, and relevance to the theme. Winners were announced Thursday, August 4, during Telluride Arts’ First Thursday Art Walk, as follows:
2nd Place- Amy Levek “Behind Ingram Falls”
1st Place- Jack Plantz “Palmyra Winds”
2nd Place- Amy Levek “Behind Ingram Falls”
3rd Place (2 winners)- Suchitra Baker “A Walk Along the River” & Jack Plantz “Turtle in the Sky with Diamonds”
Youth Award- Chandra Belka “A Different View”
