The countdown has begun. Break out your skis and snowboards for Opening Day in Telluride, Thursday, November 26.
Last season, the Telluride Ski Resort saw record skier visits, despite what may not have been the best snow year due to a limited number of storms and warmer than usual temperatures.
Lucky for us, however, meteorologists are saying this winter could well be a whole different story: a strong El Nino year, potentially lasting through Spring 2016, suggests a high potential for above-average snowfall in southwestern Colorado.
