The newly transformed Madeline Hotel and Residences in the heart of Telluride’s Mountain Village, is unveiling new services and amenities to entice winter sports enthusiasts over the upcoming 2015-2016 season. From Ski Valets who coordinate every detail for skiers en route to the slopes to guided Mountain Tours, as well as two a new signature dining experiences and the hottest après ski scene in town, Madeline Hotel and Residences has something for everyone this winter.
The hotel’s Ski Valet program makes maneuvering the Telluride Ski Resort a breeze with dedicated ski valets on call to arrange every detail for guests from lift tickets to equipment care and even warming up boots before the day’s first run. In addition, the hotel’s Ski Ambassador program offers participants guidance to the best ski locations of the day, with morning and afternoon Mountain Tours scheduled daily.
In partnership with the Telluride Ski Resort, the hotel is offering the new Fresh Tracks program which invites guests to ski like a local on Day 1, with access to pristine ski areas led by expert instructors who know the best hidden stashes on the mountain. The Fresh Tracks program includes an hour-long elite ski session followed by a private brunch at the Tempter House, an exclusive private residence located at 12,200 feet beside Telluride’s famous Gold Hill.
A massive renovation that has transformed the property with new features and amenities is also underway, and due to be completed in time for the ski season. The final phase will add a 24-by-50-foot heated swimming pool, hot tubs, fire pits, and 4,000 square feet of decking poised to offer spectacular village and sunset views, along with an après-ski bar scene and event venue.
The renovation projects already completed include a new 3,000-square foot Club Room, with an indoor/outdoor bar, pool table, shuffleboard, and picture windows reserved for Residence owners and guests. Madeline Hotel and Residences also unveiled two new signature dining experiences in 2015: Black Iron Kitchen & Bar and M Club.
Black Iron Kitchen & Bar is a warm and inviting après ski destination for guests and locals alike, with deep woods, dark steel, natural stone, outdoor “fire tables” and a “Modern Mountain” menu by Executive Chef George Morris. The brand new M Club is known for its genuine and personalized service, creative seasonal and local cuisine, unrivaled wine and spirits and a cozy one-of-a-kind game area.
After a day on the slopes, kids can kick back in the hotel’s new hangout, 20 Below, which keeps young minds active and energies engaged with a movie lounge, electronic gaming consoles, an art wall, and four Apple computers. If kids work up an appetite, they can head right next door to grab a snack at the brand new onsite Dylan’s Candy Bar. The hangout also offers off-site action for kids including snowshoe tours and sledding. Meanwhile, adults can unwind with regular yoga and Pilates at the new M Studio adjacent to the hotel. For those feeling less ambitious after a day on the slopes, M Spa and new M Salon offer full-service spa and beauty services. The hotel’s ice skating rink, nestled right in the heart of Mountain Village, offers fun for every member of the family with convenient onsite skate rentals, lessons, parties, and more.
