09 Jul Telluride Arts: Art & Architecture
Kate Jones took over the reins of Telluride Arts in 2010 and immediately added to the list of worthy initiatives established by the organization over the decades, including Art Walk, a small grants program, and the first cultural master plan. Kate rebranded the nonprofit and established the Telluride Arts District as a destination of fearless creativity.
Among a long and growing list of new initiatives, Kate, her right arm Britt Markey, and their tireless team enhanced or created, is the Telluride Arts & Architecture Weekend.

Last year we had a remarkable turnout and left inspired by the artists who gave their heart (and time) to the event –and won money in return. Join us in 2015 for the encore, another extraordinary weekend filled with art, architecture, culinary tastings, and wine.
ABOUT:
The Telluride Art + Architecture Weekend provides an insider’s look into the creative talent within the Telluride Arts District.
Over the course of two days (Saturday and Sunday), the Tour (12-5 pm) will feature 10 venues at which creative teams bring you the ultimate artful experience. Stops include prestigious new and historic homes, studios, and innovative alternative venues.
At each stop on the tour, a creative team of architects, chefs, artists, and designers collaborate to provide an intimate experience for guests. Each venue will feature food and wine tastings prepared by local chefs, art exhibits, artist and chef demonstrations, live music, performances, artist talks, tours with the architects and designers, and surprises at each stop along the way.
