Here in the San Juans, the green, green grass of Taurus is often covered with snow. Moisture comes in a variety of guises, but its purpose remains the same: Water, aka H2O. Establish, feed, nourish, nurture and sustain life. Everywhere we see buds and sprouts, another yearly growing season has begun.

For all of us here in the Northern Hemisphere of our home planet, Taurus is the time to recognize our connection to the Mother Earth, work in harmony with her moods and seasons, plant seeds, take care of seedlings, provide life support and foster growth. Like the Tortoise and the Hare, Aesop reminds us that slow and steady, patience and perseverance pay off in the end.
