18 Dec Mountain Village: Lights! Action!
Mountain Village set to brighten the holiday season with #HolidayMagic Light Show. Bedazzlement begins December 24.
The Partners of Mountain Village, Colorado, are set to impress guests and locals alike this holiday season with a holiday light show like nothing anyone has ever seen.
Madeline Hotel and Residences is partnering with the Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association and the Town of Mountain Village to put on a light show with Paintscaping.com, the Los Angeles-based world leader in 3D projection mapping which has produced a variety of light shows all over the world. The production titled #HOLIDAYMAGIC will be showcased at Heritage Plaza in Mountain Village with three shows nightly at 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. from December 24-31, snow or shine. This year’s sparkling event is brought forth by the Mountain Village Community.
“The entire community is excited to bring this holiday-themed artistic statement to Mountain Village,” offered Dan Jansen, Mayor of Mountain Village. “We encourage locals and visitors alike to come up and experience something that hasn’t been seen before in the state of Colorado.”
Each #HOLIDAYMAGIC show will last five minutes, and what a five minutes they will be, with musical accompaniment and a veritable rainbow of 3D holiday imagery flashing on buildings throughout Heritage Plaza.
Breaks between shows will be “Magic Hours,” with local shopping and dining promotions available from show sponsors, retailers and restaurants in and around Mountain Village.
Madeline Hotel and Residences will lead the Magic Hour action, offering bone-warming tomato bisque accompanied by a glass of red wine at the hotel’s new Black Iron Kitchen and Bar, specially priced at $15. Additional sponsors include Mountain Village Community, Town of Mountain Village, Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association, Fairmont Heritage Place – Franz Klammer Lodge, Telluride Sotheby’s International Realty, Telluride Ski and Golf Company and Telluride Real Estate Corporation, Christie’s International.
“The holidays are a special time to celebrate in Telluride, and Madeline Hotel and Residences is excited to be a sponsor in this year’s light show,” said Todd Gehrke, Director of Sales and Marketing at the property. “We are thrilled to welcome guests to the new Black Iron Kitchen and Bar as part of the show’s Magic Hour to celebrate the holiday season and serve as a place for all to gather, as we prepare to unveil a variety of additional, exciting changes to Madeline Hotel in the New Year.”

About Mountain Village
Mountain Village, situated in the heart of the breathtaking San Juan Mountains, was incorporated in 1995 as a home rule municipality. Its founders envisioned a European-style ski- in/ski-out, pedestrian-friendly destination resort that would complement the historic mining town of Telluride. A three-stage gondola transportation system connects the Town of Mountain Village with the Town of Telluride. Situated at 9,500 feet, Mountain Village is comparably a world apart from other resorts: it is innately spectacular, beautifully orchestrated and planned, and overflowing with style, charm and sophistication.
