Telluride Arts: Cellscape Photo Contest

Telluride Arts: Cellscape Photo Contest

Deadline to enter Telluride Arts’ Cellscape Photo Contest is November 14. Exhibit/reception at Gallery 81435 is Noel Nite, December 3.

The 2014 Cellscape Photo Contest and Exhibit is a fun and unique community art exhibit sponsored by Telluride Arts, curated by Megan Valanidas and hosted by Gallery 81435. A landscape photo made with a cell/smart phone is how we define a cellscape (#cellscape).

Entries must be landscapes taken on a cell phone in the Telluride region.

Select images and prize winners will be printed and displayed at the Cellscapes exhibit reception at Gallery 81435 on Wednesday, December 3, from 5-8pm. Tons of great prizes will be awarded to contest winners!

Megan is a Telluride resident. Before Telluride, however, she was a photography instructor for VOICES Inc., a non-profit organization based in Tucson, AZ that focuses on teaching documentary arts to local teens.

Megan studied traditional photography at Rochester Institute of Technology and the University of Arizona. She can be found at the Butcher & the Baker or hiking in the San Juans.
