The Telluride Art + Architecture Weekend showcases the very best of Telluride’s creative talent through two days of touring and tasting. The tour offers an insider’s glimpse into exquisite homes designed by prominent local architects, eclectic studios of local artists and designers, top restaurants featuring world-class chefs, and plenty of surprises. Each stop on the tour venue offers a lively art-infused experience with art exhibits, demonstrations, installations, live music, performances, talks, tours, and wine and food tastings.

The Telluride Art + Architecture Weekend kindles artist collaboration across disciplines bringing architects, artists, designers and chefs together to push the boundaries of creative expression in the Telluride Arts District. Working as teams, local and visiting artists collaborate with architects, designers and local venues to create unique experiences that provide a counterpoint to the space they occupy. Weekend ticket holders will vote for an Audience Choice prize and a $5,000 cash award to the winning artist collaboration.

In addition to the tour, there are four special events available to ticket holders:

On Tuesday, July 15 there is a special Twenty(by)Telluride: Art + Architecture edition that will feature local artists, designers and chefs.

To kick off the weekend, on Saturday morning from 10am-11am, the dynamic husband and wife team, Virginia San Fratello and Ronald Rael of Rael San Fratello, will be offering a lecture on Emerging Objects, their cutting edge 3-D printing project, and other projects from their atelier.

On Sunday morning, 10am-11am, local historian Ashley Boling will provide a Historic Walking Tour.

Finally, a closing party and awards will be held from 5-6pm on Sunday.

The Telluride Art + Architecture Weekend showcases the remarkable creative talent in the Telluride Arts District. True to Telluride’s cosmopolitan nature, the event embraces creative collaboration from both visiting and local artists of all kinds: including chefs, architects, designers, musicians, and literary and fine artists of all disciplines.
