Renowned as two of the most intimate festivals in the country, Wine Festival and Musicfest share the magic of a rich life experience and artful engagement, so it is appropriate these two sustaining festivals would come together for one memorable night of the best of wine and music, a time-worn tradition through the ages.
Telluride Wine Festival is a four-day celebration of wine and food located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.
“This year’s festival will have programs for both the novice and the connoisseur,” said festival director Laurel Robinson, “and we will be improving on our classic Tasting Events and adding many fun and fascinating seminars and activities.”
With over 25 different events, there is something for everyone. For festival information or to purchase tickets visit www.TellurideWineFestival.com.
Under the artistic direction of Maria Bachmann of the Trio Solisti, Telluride Musicfest has, for 12 years, invited the best of New York chamber music artists for two weeks of music making presented in the way chamber music was written to be heard – in a grand living room (or chamber). The Mai’s luxurious barn-like living room, bathed in the light of dusk bouncing off Mts. Wilson and Sunshine, is a perfect place to experience the glories of that genre of classic music. This year’s festival is themed From Russian with Love Part II and features the great masterpieces of that repertoire. Concerts are June 25, June 29, July 2 and July 7.
