03 Feb San Juan Mountains Weather: More Snow For Monday, 2/3/2014
Editor’s note: Jerry Roberts sent an update to this forecast this morning. New models now predict 6-10″ of new snow for the San Juans.
Clouds are beginning to invade southwestern Colorado tonight from the west as a Pacific low pressure trough slides down the California coast and moves into the Great Basin by very early tomorrow morning. Snow should begin by mid day with little wind support. This looks like a fast moving system and should exit western Colorado by Tuesday. Possible 4-8″ on WSW slopes above TL from this storm.
Should see clearing by Wednesday then another storm drops south from Canada with Arctic cold and little snow for the San Juans on Thursday.
