Pastor Pat Bailey: Insights, I Am That I Am

Last Sunday I gave the second part of a two-part sermon, “I Am That.”  In the first part, I talked about the divine ground of our being, the “I Am,” which is not separate from our own consciousness.  In the second part, I talk about the “becoming” or divine goal of our being, the “I Am that I Am” or “I Am Who I Will Be Revealed to Be.”  This becoming involves the tension of our evolving consciousness to reach greater expanses. Such expansion is not a supersizing of our already inflated egos, but our participation in the Spirit’s emergence in all of creation.
