27 Jan San Juan Mountains Weather: Looking for More Snow?
The very large ridge of high pressure that’s been parked over the SW causing our annual January thaw is beginning to break down with several Pacific storms stacking up and pushing east into Colorado.
The first pulse of moisture should arrive on Wednesday afternoon with several more following through Saturday. Each impulse is carrying decent moisture that could add up to 12″ or possibly more.
Will have a better handle on it with new model runs over the next 24 hours.
