07 Sep TASP: 15th Annual Golf Classic
The Telluride Adaptive Sports Program is dedicated to enriching the lives of people with disabilities by providing therapeutic recreational opportunities.
On Thursday, September 12, 2013, TASP hosts its 15th Annual Bob Miller Memorial Golf Classic. The tournament takes place at the Telluride Ski and Golf Club in the Mountain Village with proceeds benefiting the Adaptive Program’s scholarship fund for low-income participants.
The annual golf scramble has raised over $70,000 dollars in previous years, making it one of the largest fundraising events for TASP. The entry fee of $250/player or $1000/team includes greens fees, golf cart, range balls, continental breakfast, bag lunch, tournament goody bag, and admittance to the awards party and auction at The Ridge Club. Shotgun start is at 9 a.m. and space is limited.
The party itself includes dinner and drinks. There will also be a silent and live auction featuring many one-of-a-kind items, golf trips, and more. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for individuals unable to attend the tournament or after-party.
