09 Jun Re-Wiring Your Brain for Happiness: How Meditation Can Physically Change the Brain
I came upon an interesting article in The Self-Improvement Blog and wanted to share it with you; origingally written by Dan Harris and Erin Brady back in July 2011. In it, there is a reference to the Dali Lama and his relationship with Dr. Richie Davidson of the University of Wisconsin, where he and his colleagues have been conducting research about what the brain looks like on happiness. Davidson’s subjects have been master meditators sent to his hi-tech brain lab by His Excellency. Dr. Davidson has been a guest speaker in town, thanks to the Telluride Institute.

How many of you out there meditate? I am a yoga instructor and mediation is part of my daily practice. Please let me know if you want links to guided practices as short as 10 minutes, but no longer than 20. And yes, studies show even 10 minutes can be transformative.
