New moons mark the beginning of new cycles and present us with the energies and opportunities that carry the power and potential to spiral us up and forward toward the next level and experience. Capricorn, the third and most “evolved” earth sign, deals with the highest levels of the physical plane. It is here that time and space dance with everyday, earthbound realities. Natural resources are factors in financial equations and the effective, efficient management of the tangible and tactile is paramount to both individual and societal survival, success, sustenance, satisfaction and security.

This translates as a highly fortuitous time for carving out the size and shape of things to come by identifying our highest hopes, best intentions and most cherished goals. The combination of Venus, Juno and the Moon – all feminine goddesses – with the Sun, Mercury and Pluto – powerful, primal, playful, passionate masculine gods – serve up a multi-dimensional plate of practical, paternal possibilities laced with the beauty, sensitivity and magic of the maternal. We are being directed toward a more holistic, natural approach to energy and resources.
