ALACAZEM 2012.11.08

November 8 to 15, 2012  Visible Planets: Morning: Venus and Jupiter  Evening: Mercury and Mars

It’s a new day, a new era, a new age.

From the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius in the ‘60’s to the ‘90’s Carlos Santana song Era Nueva, to now – the November 2012 post election week – and the upcoming Mayan End Times date of Winter Solstice 2012, we have been and continue to experience the ongoing evolutionary metamorphosis of animal, plant and mineral life here on planet Earth.

For me, this transition can be seen in every reflecting surface and relationship of my life. Like a spinning disco ball, it is picking up and transmitting light, hope, dreams, realities and illusions. It is hypnotic and motivational all at once. Like our ever-expanding Universe, the possibilities are endless, infinite and eternal.

I’m happy to see that we are continuing to move “forward” with the re-election of our current President Barack Obama. And other than long lines at the polls, the late “too close to call” count in Florida and the residual effects of Hurricane Sandy on the Eastern seaboard, a stationary retrograde Mercury in early Sagittarius did not prevent America from upholding a national, successful election. It will be interesting to observe our country’s “progress” over the next four years. Elections and candidates elected under Mercury retrograde do well with the verbs that use the “re” prefix: review, revise and revision are just a few. Hopefully, we will see local and federal politicians make a concerted bi-partisan effort to regain cooperation and readdress the polarity stasis of ineffective, inefficient government. It’s definitely time to fix what is no longer working in Congress; re-balance the Federal budget, withdraw from foreign wars, address climate change, work on immigration reform and on and on and on.

Perhaps the biggest news comes in the newly evolved American demographic:  No candidate can win with just the “white” vote. The Native American, African American, Asian American and – most numerous and rapidly rising – Hispanic American vote resoundingly outnumbers the white Caucasian American vote. The American “melting pot” is truly a reality in this beautiful New Era, New Age and New Day. Vamanos derecho con amor, luz y paz! Let us go forward with love, light and peace!

Aries (Mar. 20-Apr.19) The Scorpio New Moon illuminates the shadow, individually and collectively, and you can see exactly what is buried, hidden and denied. Expose darkness to light and watch the demons of fear, self-doubt and insecurity disappear. Truth and honesty are allies on the road to real health and true happiness. Walk in beauty and do the next right thing.

Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20) The Nov. 13th New Moon solar eclipse takes place in your solar 7th house of important others. This translates as one of the most opportune times for reassessing and repairing relationships. Whatever and whomever has upset, bothered or disgusted you, it’s really all about you. Identify the changes you can make and simply walk your talk and lead by example.

Gemini (May 21-June 21) Do you have the patience to let the mud settle until the water is clear? Lao Tzu’s ancient Taoist wisdom resonates this week as New Moon eclipse energy encourages emotional courage and spiritual strength regarding doubt, fear and deep desire. Jupiter retrograde in Gemini has you looking backwards through your life. Embrace the warrior; cultivate faith.

Cancer (June 21-July 22) Solar eclipses are poignant and powerful for Moonchildren, as lunar and solar light unite in a duet of spiritual and emotional rebirth. This celestial event marks a major new beginning and turning point when it comes to your soul journey on Earth. Tap into the deepest part of your heart and feel the divine creative spark within. This is your purpose and destiny.

Leo (July 23-Aug.22) You may awaken to a new sense of purpose regarding your home environment and domestic situation as ecliptic energy opens the door to a fresh phase of self-understanding and self-nurturing. Healing takes place in the heart and it may be time to let go of the things you cannot change and change the things you can, i.e. your own attitudes and actions.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep.22) This week’s powerful solar eclipse signals a time of major endings and beginnings. For the Virgin, the focus takes place in areas of awareness, perception and communication. It’s as if your mind has put up a new antennae and tuned into a more realistic, productive, pro-active frequency than ever before. Stay on track and do the next right thing.

Libra (Sep. 23-Oct. 22) With Venus in Libra and Saturn in early Scorpio you may experience the mystical power of paradox. Suffering gives birth to compassion. We must give to receive and failure often leads to success. The biggest challenge and greatest wisdom is in accepting total responsibility for yourself and your relationships. Understand the importance of your part and work with it.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) The Nov. 13th Scorpio New Moon solar eclipse reconfigures and reboots your inner hard drive, erases old programs, dumps the trash and makes room for up-to-the-moment, state-of-art software. As you take the first baby steps into Saturn in Scorpio, clean house inside and out. Reality is your friend and personal responsibility is your ally. Embrace the art of practice.

Sagittarius (Nov. 23-Dec. 20) At the heart of our Milky Way Galaxy lies a super-massive Black Hole, which absorbs and transmits enormous amounts of electromagnetic energy. With Mars now conjunct the galactic core in late Sag, you are in prime position to release old beliefs and presumptions, as well as remember your personal celestial origin and mission. Tap in and go forth.

Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19) The Scorpio New Moon solar eclipse reminds us that we always have power, we always have a choice and we all have something important to offer. Bring your light to darkness and your love and wisdom to whatever situation is calling for healing and transformation. As a champion of social and righteous causes, carry the torch and lead by example.

Aquarius (Jan. 19-Feb. 18) Solar eclipses take place when the Moon aligns exactly with the Sun and temporarily blocks the constant stream of solar radiation to our Earth. This is like unplugging an electronic device to reboot it, and in this case, we are the human computers. In Scorpio, this translates as new programs in personal responsibility and social consciousness. Prepare to live the change.

Pisces (Feb. 18-Mar. 20) Awaken to the unlimited potential and possibilities of our ever-expanding Universe as Neptune and Chiron end their 5-month retrograde phases in Pisces. This signals a readiness to take a few giant steps forward on the illuminated road of spirit. Pay close attention to feelings, heal old trauma and follow your heart. Live and let go, embrace gratitude and be free.
