Join the Telluride Historical Museum for a special Seventies-themed, free, Architectural Tour with George Greenbank. Meet at the Museum Saturday, September 29, 9:30 a.m.

The focus of the tour is an update on Telluride as a National Historic Landmark District. Also covered: Old homes, new homes, scrape-offs, additions, famous owners, Telluride’s history during the period of significance of 1880-1917 and Telluride’s new period of significance, the 1970s, through the big money boom of the 21st century.

Do you remember the 1970s in Telluride? As part of the 1970s Reunion Weekend festivities, join the Museum at the Floradora Saloon Sunday, September 30, 10:30 a.m., for breakfast, Bloody Marys and Telluride Trivia. Entry fee is $10 for teams of up to six. (Food and drink not included.) Proceeds to benefit the Telluride Historical Museum.

Thursday, October 4, visit the Museum for the First Thursday Art Walk and enjoy wine, cheese and the newest exhibit, “Sight and Sound: 125 Years of Art and Music in Telluride.”

As part of the exhibit and Art Walk, the museum plans to feature a 40-year retrospective of local artist Lucy Boody’s fiber art, watercolors, and organic sculpture creations.

Boody’s work will be featured as part of the museum’s exhibit throughout October.
