02 Jun BEST OF NEWB: BALLOON FEST BABY!
It may not be the most known or prestigious of Telluride’s numerous (and I mean numerous) festivals, but Balloon Fest is definitely up there – ahem – as one of the best. It’s low key, it’s free (eg. the night GLO on Main Street Saturday night), and if you wake up early enough, you can try and hitch a ride in one of the balloons all the way from Town Park to the High School.
So, for all of you with nothing to do this weekend, perhaps waking up at the crack of dawn tomorrow and attempting to get a ride in a hot air balloon is right up your alley. If not, then perhaps this video of last year’s balloon fest will provide some much needed motivation. Take it from me: Balloon Fest rocks!
