This week we witness and experience the fruition of the Taurus/Scorpio full Moon – frequently classified as the “sexiest, most fertile and seductive lunation of the year. Spring has sprung, the primal thrust of Aries has pushed us forward, propelled us into the verdant pastures of calm and peaceful Taurus, zodiac month of warming soil, greening grass and blossoming flowers.

Here on Wright’s Mesa, the lilacs are in bloom. Lime-green aspen flutter in the breeze as the first soft buds of blue spruce pop up out of their hardened branches. I checked the bluebird boxes the other day and found them all filled with pale blue eggs nestled in their well-built, tidy nests. Baby lambs and calves frolic in the morning sunshine, while days grow longer.

A fertile, fecundity permeates the air, earth and ethers. We’re on the front side of a warming trend and I love it. Drink it in, bask in the fertility, plant the seeds and till the soil. Touch the ones you love and kiss the ground you walk on. And, most of all, don’t forget to smell the lilacs. Mmmmm…
