LOS LONELY BOYS AT TELLURIDE OPERA HOUSE, 3/7/2012

Ed. note: Obviously the editor was asleep. Thanks to Jumpin’ Jan for pointing out the LLB is at Sheridan Opera House on March 7, not 2/7.

Hey Telluride: the ski season is winding down for another year, and with it the music scene is closing in on the Spring off-season. But don’t give up yet. March is huge for music at Telluride’s historic Sheridan Opera House.  Los Lonely Boys come in on Wednesday, March 7, 8:00-11:00 p.m. Watch Telluride Inside… and Out for the events for the rest of the month. Suzanne Cheavens will be keeping you up-to-date on what’s happening at the Opera House.

Los Lonely Boys is the three Garza brothers, another story about taking years to become an overnight success. But when they released “Heaven” they were on their way. The group has headlined at Telluride Blues and Brews, and if you want to hear them in the intimate setting of the Opera House, I suggest you get your tickets ($25, main floor standing, or probably moving; $30, Reserved seating in the balcony) right away. Call their music Texican Rock ‘n’ Roll, call it Blues, call it Country; I just call it Good.

Just saw them in Fort Collins. Fantastic show. The Opera House in Telluride will be a great venue for them!
