TELLURIDE LIFESAVER BALL SUPPORTS EMS

TELLURIDE LIFESAVER BALL SUPPORTS EMS

It’s easy to get overwhelmed with the amount of things to do in Telluride. But among your many winter activities, make sure to carve out a night for Telluride’s Lifesavers’ Ball on Saturday, January 14th. As Chief Paramedic, Emil Sante, put it, “The ball is more than just your average dance. It’s a carnival of sorts with things happening in every corner of the room from comedy routines to burlesque circus shows to dance parties.”

There are also plenty of exciting things to bid on such as a Helitrax ski tour, a house in Maui for a week, a custom Ski Area Sign, a 2012/13 Ski Pass, a free Ambulance ride, a “Get out of Jail Free” card for Mr. Bill, some Iron Maiden Back Stage Passes, and plenty of outdoor gear.

The money goes to a valuable cause too. We play hard here and hope that we’ll never need to call on these guys. But should we need to, Telluride’s EMT and Search and Rescue are there for us 24/7, 365 days a year. The money raised at this event helps to support these non-profits with needed equipment, educational support classes, and team building events.

Tickets can be picked up around town at the Steaming Bean, Hub, Wizard, the Fire Station, and of course, from any local EMT you run into. Party starts at 7PM at the Conference Center in Mountain Village on Saturday, January 14th.
