The Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association (TMVOA), sponsors and producers of the Telluride Festival of the Arts (TFA) announce FAST FACTS for 2012. The event has moved from the traditional 2nd weekend of August to the 3rd weekend to coincide with the 2012 USA Pro Cycling Challenge stop in Telluride.

What: The 2012 Telluride Festival of the Arts (TFA) will once again delight both food and art lovers alike. Culinary enthusiasts and fine art aficionados come together to share a common passion for food, art and entertainment. August 17-19, 2012, Telluride Mountain Village, CO.

TFA is an annual weekend-long, culinary and visual arts event held in Mountain Village. Produced by the nationally renowned Cherry Creek Arts Festival, TFA hosts national and regional professional visual artists from across the United States in a one-of-a-kind outdoor exhibition nestled in a box canyon surrounded by the majestic 13,000ft peaks of San Juan Mountains.

Highlights of the 2012 Festival include the signature Grand Tasting and a nationally juried art show featuring artists in 13 different media categories including: ceramics, digital art, drawing, fiber, glass, graphics and printmaking, jewelry, metal-works, mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture and wood. The art show is free admission. At the signature Grand Tasting, patrons enjoy the remarkable tastes of local restaurants, breweries, fine wineries and spirits for an evening of culinary and social celebration!
