LAWRY DE BIVORT ON “ARAB SPRING” AT TELLURIDE LIBRARY

Lawry de Bivort is a long-time part-time Tellurider, and is just now making Telluride his “real” home. Like so many in this worldly community, Lawry has several other dimensions to his being. While most of us were watching TV coverage of the uprisings called the “Arab Spring”, de Bivort was in North Africa talking to the people involved.

In another of the programs in which the Wilkinson Public Library is contributing to the broader education of the Telluride community, Lawry de Bivort will give us his impressions of the revolts which are changing the face of the Muslim world, and how these regime changes (and attempted regime changes) are affecting the wider world.

Don’t miss this first-hand impression of these major changes in our time, Tuesday, January 17, 2012, 6:00 pm, at Telluride’s Wilkinson Public Library. For a preview, click “Play” to listen to my conversation with Lawry:
