23 Dec CHRISTMAS SERVICES AT CHRIST CHURCH
Last Christmas, Telluride Inside… and Out went BIG, probing the deeper meaning of the holiday in a mini series featuring Reverend Pat Bailey of Christ Presbyterian Church. We talked about “The real ‘magic’ of Christmas,” (part 1), “The ‘war’ on Christmas, (part 2), and finally “The deeper meaning of the holiday,” (part 3). All three of these in-depth conversations are available by following the links in “Related Posts.”
Apparently our wide-ranging explorations about the myth and magic of Christmas left Reverend Pat speechless apart from a simple announcement: 2011 Christmas Eve Candlelight Services at Christ Church, 434 West Columbia (one block up from Main Street), across the street from the Elementary School) are scheduled for at 5:30 p/m/ and 7:30 p.m. and feature music by Mountain Gospel. A Christmas Day services on Sunday, December 25, is at 10 a.m. and feature music by Deb Barr and Ginny Fraser.
Services for children held simultaneously at Children’s Church.
The dress code for the Christmas Day services: “Pajamas welcome.”
