December 8 to 15, 2011 Visible Planets: Morning: Mars and Saturn Evening: Venus and Jupiter
“Anyone who is not shocked by quantum theory has not understood it.” – Niels Bohr
“The most startling quantum fact is that there is no objective reality; the observer shapes what is observed. As soon as our attention focuses on something, all other probabilities collapse; what was an infinite wave of possibility becomes a particle of matter. There is the expression, ‘I’ll believe it when I see it,’ but the reverse is actually more accurate: ‘I will see it when I believe it’.” – Stephanie Austin
“Science cannot solve the ultimate mystery of nature. And that is because in the last analysis, we ourselves are part of nature and therefore part of the mystery that we are tying to solve.” – Max Planck
On Dec. 10th @ 7:36 am MST the Sun and Moon align in the exact opposition aspect of a total lunar eclipse. The Sun will be @ 18º10’ Sagittarius, the Moon at 18º10’ Gemini, illuminating the tropical zodiac’s polarity of lower and higher thinking and mentality. From the childlike innocence of beginner’s mind to the enlightened awareness of the guru, saint or avatar, we will travel the multi-faceted road of individual and collective consciousness. It is here, in the universal thought field of knowledge, information, perception and ideas, that we draw from the ever-flowing well of Cosmic Mind, the Source of all creation and destruction, and experience those moments of other-worldly communication, divine intuition and spiritual transcendence.
As always, eclipses are extremely powerful times of awakening, breakthrough and epiphany, when we are directed toward particular astrological themes and paradigms. And this week, the cosmos shimmer with the multi-dimensional starry light of Gemini/Sagittarius; it’s all about what happens in our heads and hearts, how we process and define what we see and experience, what we believe in and how we express our thoughts, feelings and beliefs. Looking, talking, seeking and exploring are themes. It’s time for all of us to take note of our own internal dialogues, listen to what others are saying and stop amidst the holiday bustle to ask ourselves what we believe in. This eclipse highlights our views and assumptions about reality. What’s real to you? Are you seeing and believing or believing and seeing?
Happy multi-faceted Gemini/Sagittarius lunar eclipse! Seek and you shall find…
Aries (Mar. 20-Apr.19)
The Dec. 10th lunar eclipse illuminates issues of faith, or lack of faith, with a power and punch like you have never felt or witnessed previously. This is a magnificent awakening to higher-self living. If you have any clue as to what that entails, sign up, commit and stick to it. Believing is seeing.
Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20)
With the 2011 eclipse window open as wide as it possibly can be, stand at the sill and take in the view. Life-giving oxygen, fresh vistas and new horizons await those willing to explore the uncharted territory of limitless possibility. That’s a tall order for security-seeking, comfort-conscious Bulls. But, what the hey, the time is now. Consider the options.
Gemini (May 21-June 21)
This week’s full Moon lunar eclipse surrounds the Twins with reverberating cosmic power and potential. The universe literally resonates with expanding possibility, and you may feel as if you’re being pulled by a mysterious, magnetic force toward a symbiotic personal and galactic center. Surrender to the source, go with the flow and enjoy the ride.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Once again, the exact alignment of the Sun, Moon and Earth in a full Moon lunar eclipse provides Moonchildren with another opportunity to align body, soul and spirit in a dance of cosmic unity and light. Ghosts from the past may tempt your attention, but golden keys to success and true happiness are found in a conscious, daily practice of living in the now.
Leo (July 23-Aug.22)
Potent metaphysical messages are traveling through the ethers this week as ecliptic energy resonates with themes of information, education and perception. The way we see reality, how we define it and what we say or do to get others to see it our way are subjects worthy of consideration and examination. Open your heart and keep your eye on the ball.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep.22)
Quantum physics is a scientific field worth exploring, especially since the world today has morphed into something relatively unexplainable and inexplicable. Mystery and magic reign supreme and always have, forever and ever more. As one who prefers the practical and categorical, this can be somewhat upsetting. Change the channel and discover the wisdom of uncertainty.
Libra (Sep. 23-Oct. 22)
Today, December 2011, the old adage of “I’ll believe it when I see it” has changed into “when I believe it, I’ll see it.” There is not a phrase more appropriate for the eclipse energy in orb presently, or the evolving quantum paradigms washing the planet with possibility. Whether or not you buy into mystical thinking or magical being, simply open to light.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22)
Asteroid Juno in Scorpio encourages one-to-one pairing, shared commitments and themes of marriage and companionship. Mercury retrograde may have you reviewing themes of financial security and stability in relationship. Are you doing all the work? Communicate, express your feelings and work it out. Anger is a toxin you can’t afford. Be free.
Sagittarius (Nov. 23-Dec. 20)
Wowee kazowee! This is a week of great importance and impact for the Archer. Eclipse energy surrounds you with love, the cosmos beckon enlightenment and the universe impels awakening. But, wait, what about all those other people left in the dark or out in the cold? Remember to lead by example and attract rather than promote. Live life with integrity.
Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19)
The most startling quantum fact is that there is no objective reality. In times resonating with expanding possibility and metaphysical potential, it seems as if our 3D world is being threatened with extinction. What’s a Capricorn to do? The practical approach to manifestation came via resource management and manipulation. Now it’s all about belief. Give it a try!
Aquarius (Jan. 19-Feb. 18)
Pushing it to the limit, breaking the rules and stretching the boundaries are Aquarian themes of personal rebellion and revolution. This eclipse week, you may discover even more reasons to break away, break out or break free from restriction and inhibition. Just remember, jail is no place to affect change. You’re better off with companions and camaraderie. Peace!
Pisces (Feb. 18-Mar. 20)
Themes of health and healing continue as the Dec. 10th full Moon lunar eclipse shines light on personal goals and achievements. For some rather mysterious reason, you’re finding deep gratification in accomplishment and feel hell-bent to get ‘er done, no matter what others seem to think or want. Focus on progress and balance. When you’re out of it, get it back!
