Ted Hoff of Cottonwood Ranch and Kennel and his young female Black Labrador Retriever, Mae, are a team. It is always interesting watching Ted work with a dog, but to see him in action with Mae is pure pleasure.

Telluride Inside… and Out and our readers have had that pleasure since Mae was a young puppy. It's not necessary to be a hunter to appreciate the teamwork on display in this video, a level of teamwork that is the result of an intelligent dog with a job to do raised on love, praise, consistancy, and a clear understanding of her trainer's expectations.
