On July 9, 2011, our good friend Bean Bowers took flight from his physical, material earth walk and began traveling in the mysterious metaphysical realm of spirit. On Sat. September 10th, friends and family will gather for a memorial service and tribute to the man/boy who touched their hearts with the same intensity and integrity with which he climbed, skiied, hiked, sailed, kayaked, rafted, worked, laughed, lived and loved. From the high mountain peaks and raging rivers of the American West to the couloirs and canyons of Europe, Central and South America, Bean gave it his all. It is an honor and blessing to have known him, to have seen his beauty and shared a few adventures along the path. Now it's time to take pause and give thanks for his presence here on Earth and the many presents he bestowed upon us all.
