Telluride Showcase Poster It's a mash up, Telluride style.

Friday, March 18, 7 p.m., the Michael D. Palm Theatre presents a first ever: The Telluride Showcase is an evening of performing arts featuring the Telluride Choral Society, Heartbeat, the Telluride Repertory Theatre, "The Adventures of Rodeo and Juliet", the cast of "Little Shop of Horrors", and ballerina Abby Purcell, dancing a piece choreographed by Valerie Madonia.

Funds raised through the event, which includes a silent auction, will help subsidize the rent for local/regional non-profits who rent the Palm.

Rhonda Muckerman, artistic director of the Telluride Choral Society, developed the program and is in charge of herding the cats. Click the "play" button if you are curious about the details of the evening. Kathy Jepson of the Palm talks about the business end of Telluride Showcase, which promises to be a night to remember, all in just over an hour.

(Tickets are available through www.telluridepalm.com or by calling 970-369-5669.)
