It's not about wooly mammoths. These days, hunting and gathering in Telluride and around the globe takes on a whole other meaning: we are talking holiday gifts.
Telluride's Ah Haa School for the Arts proposes an alternative to store bought: tap your imagination and create meaningful gifts from the heart.
December is Creative Craft month at Telluride's community arts center. Crafty holiday classes start Saturday, December 4, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. First up: "Slick Cycling Vests" with Steve Fassbinder. Kid-oriented classes include a "Secret Santa Workshop Family Day," Saturday, December 20 – December 21, 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
