15 Dec Telluride Adaptive Sports Program hosts Community Disability Awareness
On Sunday, December 29, Telluride Adaptive Sports Program is hosting an opportunity for interested locals to get a hands-on experience of what TASP is all about. For several years TASP has held awareness sessions for Telluride school students, and it seemed like a good idea to extend the same chance to community adults.
There will be two sessions on Sunday, one from 9:00 am to noon, and one from 1:00 until 4:00 pm. If you have wondered what Telluride Adaptive Sports Program offers for people with disabilities, here's your chance to find out, and have some fun at the same time.
I'll put out this warning: exposure to TASP can be addictive. I should know. I checked it out a while back, and I'm now in my 12th season instructing for the program.
